Prosthetics
Prosthetic dentistry deals with replacing extensively destroyed or missing teeth due to a disease process. During our 30-year-long dental experience we have developed excellent methods of supplementing tooth loss in collaboration with the prosthetic laboratory.
Tooth loss may be restored by fixed or removable dentures.
Fixed dentures: bridges, crowns and porcelain veneers, fixed dentures cemented to one’s own teeth or implants.
Removable dentures:
removable dentures,
clasp-retained skeletal dentures,
attachment-retained removable partial dentures,
overdentures (used in case of total toothlessness).
Prosthetics uses such materials as zircon, titanium or gold. These metals, due to their properties, appeared to be ideal as the basis for porcelain crowns or implants.
